CADET COLLEGE SPINKAI

Establishment of Cadet College Spinkai was demanded by the Mehsud tribe and promised by then COAS in 2011. Which is approved by the Governor KP. The College started functioning in April 2012 in its temporary location at Chagmalai, SWA. The 730 x kanals (92 acres) land in Spinkai Raghzai for the college was donated by the Mehsud Tribes. COAS visited the college on May 27, 2014 and appreciated the progress made by college in various fields of cadets’ education and personality grooming. College is financed by FATA Secretariat as an ADP project under the guidance of Governor KPK as Chairman Board of Governors. UPAP (UAE sponsored NGO) promised to fund the construction in two phases. Phase-1 started in Mar 2014 under direct supervision of Army Engineers and was completed in May 2016. The college shifted to its new campus at Spinkai on June 02, 2016 and it was formally inaugurated by the then COAS, Gen Raheel Sharif, HilaI-e-Imtiaz (Military) on October 20, 2016. Phase -2 has been delayed due to shortage of funds. However, Army and FATA Secretariat is doing its utmost for building essential infrastructure to gradually increase the cadets’ intake. Currently 200 cadets are undergoing academic character building and personality grooming training in the Cadet College Spinkai.
